Project Chacocente Trip

Project Chacocente moves families from the city dump of Managua, Nicaragua to the clean air and fertile soil of Masaya, where the people learn skills for living independently.

Chacocente is a non-profit, integrating project that aims to transform people, not just give them food and/or housing.  Check out the Project Chacocente website at www.outofthedump.org.

Members of North Church have been partnering with Project Chacocente and making trips to accompany the people of Chacocente for several years, and another trip is planned for 2012.
