One Great Hour of Sharing

Water. Refugees. Disasters.

One of the many ways that OGHS donations help those most in need.

When disaster strikes or people are displaced or made refugees by violence or extreme poverty, you are part of the immediate response and of the long term recovery.  Development programs during the long term recovery include:  health care, education, agriculture, food sustainability, micro financing and women’s empowerment.
When Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines, you were there in disaster relief and in rehabilitation.  Refugees from Syria and others have access to food, medical attention, clean water, and education in Lebanon and Jordan.
One Great Hour of Sharing offering in the United Church of Christ relates in mutual partnership to churches and organizations so your gift can be in the right place at the right time to reach the most vulnerable.
Give generously to One Great Hour of Sharing during service on March 6.  Sharing brings joy.
