Each year North Church takes a day or two to work at a Habitat work-site.
We welcomed a Habitat volunteer to give an overview about Habitat programs and to discuss safety measures when working on-site. The only requirement for working at a work-site is that a volunteer must watch an online video about on-site safety (or attend a session).
The Habitat ReStore is on Westerville Rd. near the corner of Innis. This store collects usable construction/home materials for resale, and helps keep down the cost of Habitat homes by using recycled materials and raising funds for projects.
